MPA students are offered career guidance throughout the program of study, although special emphasis is placed on career concerns during the final year of study. Students are encouraged to attend career days, job fairs, and other events offered by UA's Career Services Office, as well as other programs of the Eller College of Management.
Placement services available through the University include workshops on job search strategies and employment options and career forums featuring representatives from recruiting organizations. The Career Services Office schedules on-campus interviews, maintains a reference library on prospective employers, and provides one-on-one access to MPA alumni across the country who have offered to provide individual career guidance to students.
