NEWS B RIEFS:
SOUTHWEST LEADERSHIP GRADUATES TAKE PROGRAM HOME

Jurisdictions that send more than several people to attend the program together may be interested in knowing how the City of Kingman uses its evenstment in staff development. Six top Kingman officials from various departments have taken the program since 1998: Steven Auld, Roger Swenson, Charlene Ware, Coral Loyd, Diane Richards, and Jack Kramer. As each year's crop of officials completes the program, they design and conduct training sessions for all staff and elected officials back home for Kingman's annual retreat, using materials and key information from the Southwest Leadership Program.
