The Criminal Justice concentration prepares students for managerial, planning, and development careers in the court system, corrections, and law enforcement, as well as positions in local, state, or national government. The boundaries between public and private sectors within the criminal justice system are becoming increasingly blurred—the criminal justice area of concentration provides a forum to investigate and evaluate the formation of coalitions arising between public policymakers and private entrepreneurs. Students must select their concentration courses from the following list. Other courses must be approved by their advisor and the department.
