The concurrent degree program with the Center for Latin American Studies allows a student to earn a Master of Arts degree in Latin American Studies (MA) and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in three years.

Students in this program typically take one year of graduate coursework in Latin American Studies (a minimum of 18 units) after their first year of coursework required for the M.P.A.

Remaining units are completed along with Public Administration & Policy courses during the third year of the program.
